Private buses cannot enter city before 10 pm: Cops

Hyderabad: Additional Commissioner of Police (Traffic) Anil Kumar has made it clear to owners and managers of long route private buses plying in Hyderabad city about the rules and regulations in respect of plying of long route private buses in the city.

They are instructed not to enter into the city before stipulated time i.e, before 10 pm, not to use multi-toned/air horns which are causing noise pollution in the city and causing inconvenience to the other motorists on the roads, and not to park the buses in a zig zag manner which obstructs the free flow of traffic and to follow lane discipline.

Addl. CP Traffic also informed the officers of traffic police to hold meeting with the managements of the private travellers in their PS limits and identify the suitable places for pickup and alighting of passengers in the city without causing traffic congestion and make arrangements to send the private bus drivers to attend training/counselling at Traffic Training Institute, Goshamahal, to create awareness on traffic rules and safety.
