Prof Jayashankar Telangana Agricultural University VC bereaved

Rajendranagar: Several prominent persons on Wednesday called on Dr V Praveen Rao, Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Jayashankar Telangana Agricultural University (PJTAU), to console him following the death of his father Damodar Rao (86) on Tuesday.

Among them were CMO Principal Secretary Narsing Rao, Agriculture Secretary Parthasarathy, Rajendranagar MLA Prakash Goud. Many officials, non-officials, scientists, lecturers and students conveyed their condolences, both personally/telephonically, to Prof Rao, according to a press release issued by the university.
