Prof Kodandaram extends support to junior doctors

Secunderabad: Professor Kodandaram, founder president of Telangana Jana Samithi, extended his support to junior doctors, who have been protesting against National Medical Commission bill that was recently passed in the Parliament, here at Gandhi Hospital on Thursday.

Addressing the protesting doctors, Kodandaram said that his party would support junior doctors in their struggle against the Central government for withdrawal of the bill as it has done injustice to medical students who were from poor and middle classes.

He said a committee would be formed under the leadership of Dr Shankar in this regard and future action plan would be announced within the next three days.The committee would help doctors to continue their protest at New Delhi and coordinate their meeting with various people in this regard, he said. He advised them to give their primary focus on  providing medical treatment to people.
