Prof Kodandaram terms state budget vague
Musheerabad: The founder president of Telangana Jana Samithi Party, Prof Kodandaram, has termed the budget tabled in state assembly by the CM KCR as unjust and said that he had never seen such a budget before.
The budget looked more like a document analysing national economic scenario rather than a financial document, he said. The budget has only mentioned that the government would implement welfare schemes and build projects through loans, he said. It failed to provide details of government's action plan on promises it made in education, health, and agriculture sectors.
As general practice, economical analysis part of the budget is presented separately and details of fund allocations to various sectors are explained. However, the government has hidden facts by mixing both economical analysis and fund allocation sections of the budget, he said.
