Property tax can be paid on holiday too

Hyderabad: GHMC Commissioner M Dana Kishore said that the GHMC Citizen Service Centers will be open on all Sundays and Fridays to pay the property tax under early bird scheme.

Commissioner also said GHMC had collected Rs 433 crore last year in early bird scheme in the last year and he also said GHMC staff to make it Rs 500 crore this year.

He instructed Bill Collectors to be available all the time to the public and also instructed Zonal Commissioners to take responsibility that every Bill Collector is available for the citizens. The commissioner said that the deputy commissioners should take special attention on collected more taxes in early bird than last fiscal year.
