Protest over in-charge VCs' appointments

Osmania University: Telangana Navanirman Vidhyarthi Sena (TNVS) criticised state government for appointing IAS officer as OU in-charge Vice-Chancellor. Speaking to media TNVS president Shiva Prasad said the government was trying to ride rough shroud over universities.

He said university's autonomy was being weaned. He demanded appointment of qualified Vice-Chancellor to OU. He threatened to agitate all over the state if the demand is not met.
