Protests over results fiasco continue

ECIL: All India Youth Federation (AIYF) and All India Students Federation (AISF) staged protest in front of Narayana Junior College here on Tuesday demanding that the government suspend officials and education minister for irregularities in intermediate results.

They blamed the intermediate board and Globarena Techologies Private Limited for deaths of about 27 students. They demanded Rs 50 lakh exgratia to student Nagendra's family, who committed suicide.

All India Trade Union Congress (AITUC) state general secretary VS Bose termed intermediate results as scam. "There's involvement of heads in the government," he added. Medchal executive member G Damodar Reddy, S Shankar Rao, CPI Kapra Secretary Lakshmi Narayana, Basavaiah, AIYF district president T Satya Prasad, AISF district secretary Vishal, Nagender family member Srinivas Rao, AIYF Jawhar Nagar convener Srinivas and others were present.
