Qadriya International gives call for peace ahead of Babri verdict
Shalibanda: While hoping that the decision of Babri Masjid will come in the favour of Muslims, Qadriya International Organisation affirmed that in case of unfavourable decision, the Muslims would fight it out by exploring all legal means.
Speaking to media persons, the organisation's president, Maulana Syed Mohammad Ahmed Al Hussaini Saeed al-Qadri, at his office in Shalibanda, threw light on the historical background of the disputed site where Babri Masjid once stood since 1528.
He advised that since the title suit was in last stages, Muslim leadership was facing political pressure and succumbing to tactics towards relinquishing the rightful claims. Some were even found to be advising others to withdraw the case to please their political bosses. "At national level both Babri Masjid and even Kashmir have turned communal issues because of the poison spread by communal elements on both sides," he noted.
He expressed apprehensions that in case of a positive or negative outcome, anti-social elements may trigger riots between religious groups. This, he said would not help any religion, but some political parties would get benefitted, as happened earlier.
While speaking on NRC, he said that no Muslims should be worried about the NRC. But he said that as a precautionary measure everyone should remain prepared by updating their records and documents.
