Quthbullapur: Muslim bodies protest over Citizenship Amendment Bill

Quthbullapur: Muslim organisations on Friday demanded that the Central government scrap the the move for CAB law, terming it anti-constitutional. They took out a rally and raised slogans against the bill.

Speaking on the occasion, protestors alleged that the Central government had been targeting minorities, Dalits. The recent bill was also intended to relegate the minorities as secondary citizens, they said. They expressed fear that Muslims, who fail to prove their nationality, would be branded as foreigners. They demanded immediate withdrawal of the bill.
