Vidyanagar: BC leader R Krishnaiah has demanded that the Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao take necessary measures to release the results of police constable exam.
Speaking to media here on Sunday, he recalled that the notification for police constable recruitment was issued on May 31, 2018 and about 8 lakh candidates applied for 18,000 posts. Around 2.2 lakh candidates appeared for physical test, of which 90,000 candidates were selected for the final exam held in March/April 2019.
Krishnaiah said that the candidates who appeared for the final exams have been anxiously waiting for the results. Denouncing the delay in announcing the results, he said the cut-off mark is also not announced so far even six months after the exam.
Criticizing TRS government, he said that the CM KCR has promised a job for each home but has not given a job for each village. He demanded the government to issue notifications for vacant positions in various departments, schools, colleges and universities.
