Rachakonda : Road safety awareness drive held for children

Rachakonda: Traffic police of Rachakonda is making all efforts to ensure safe journey of commuters and as part of it, they have conducted as many as 3,018 traffic awareness programmes since the formation of Rachakonda Commissionerate to bring about traffic awareness among the public.

More emphasis is being laid bringing awareness and education involving traffic experts of various departments and inviting senior officers of police and Road Transport Authority.

Traffic Education Van along with a trained staff with equipment and awareness material were permanently deployed to move around the area particularly to the collages, schools, RTC depots, lorry addas, auto stands and other public gathering areas to improve the traffic sense among road users. As a part of spreading awareness among students from the budding stage, traffic awareness programmes were organised at Traffic Children Park at LB Nagar.
