Railway Protection Force Raising Day fete at Nampally station

Nampally: To create awareness among railway passengers, Railway Protection Force (RPF) organised Safety Week as part of the Raising Day week celebrations at Namapally station on Wednesday. RPF staff created awareness among passengers on safety by carrying placards and explaining to passengers precautions to be taken during their journey.

Speaking on the occasion, RPF Nampally railway station CI Janardhan Choudhary said the Raising Day Week celebrations were being organised on the instructions of RPF IG Ishwar Rao to create awareness among railway passengers on safety. RPF staff told the passengers not to board trains while moving, not eat food given by unknown persons, not wear gold ornaments during railway journeys etc.

They should take enough precaution while crossing railway crossings. They can toll-free number 182 in the event of any problem. Secunderabad Division Senior Divisional Security Commissioner B Ramakrishna, RPF Assistant Commissioner Ujjala Das, Nampally railway station director IA Khureshi and RPF staff participated in the programme.
