Rajendranagar: Green drive on CM's birthday

Rajendranagar: On the occasion of 66th birthday celebrations of Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao, the NSS unit and Green Club of the College of Agriculture, Professor Jayashankar Telangana State Agricultural University (PJTSAU) organised "Haritha Haram" programme and planted saplings on the campus on Monday.

A total of 66 saplings of Neem, spathoadia, Tabebuia and Bauhinia which are very popular for their aesthetic and environmental wellbeing were planted by the Vice Chancellor Dr V Praveen Rao, university officers, staff and students of PJTSAU. All the staff and students enthusiastically participated in the event. Each student will own and take care of the sapling planted during their stay in the campus.

The Dean of Agriculture Dr Jella Satyanarayana, Director of Research Dr R Jagadeeshwar, Dean of Student Affairs Dr V Vishnuvardhan Reddy, Dean of PG studies Dr Meena Kumari, Dean of Agril Engineering Dr K Sadasiva Rao, Comptroller M Ramesh, members of Board Management Dr A Manohar Rao, Dr Farzana Jabeen and Dr Seema planted the saplings.
