Rally held to promote sanitation & plantation

Kapra: A rally of by the government school students in Jai Jawan Colony and residents to promote sanitation and tree plantation was organised on Wednesday in several residential areas by headmaster Suvarna in response to the call given by Education Secretary Dr Janardhan Reddy.

The rally marked the launch of clean and green and plantation 'Mahotsavalu'. Participants in the rally created awareness among local residents on the need for taking up plantation of saplings in each house and keeping their surroundings clean, besides preventing accumulation of water which allows mosquitoes to grow and results in Degue fever.

Teachers Jagadeesh, Laxmi, Jhansi, Thirumalaiah, Prasad Rao, Poleraju, Saheb Saleem, Ranga Redy, Nageswar Reddy, Manipal Reddy participated in the rally.
