Rally held to promote water conservation

Secunderabad: A rally was taken out under the aegis of 'Water Leadership & Conservation' team, formed by Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply & Sewerage Board (HMWSSB), from Sithaphalmandi, Namalagundu to Chilkalguda for creating awareness water conservation on Thursday.

The rally with the slogan "Save water save human lives," was taken out to alert people on probable water scarcity in this summer and urge them not to waste water, the organisers said.

A large number of people participated in the rally and raised slogans on the importance of saving or storing water. Water is essential for human sustenance and there is need for saving water for future generations, they stressed.
