Ramanthapur: Plea to end drunkards menace in Gokhale Nagar

Ramanthapur: Corporator Gandham Jyothsna Nageswara Rao visited the Brundavan Park in Gokhale Nagar on Thursday. The locals complained to the corporator about anti-social elements abusing the park. They said many take over benches and use it to sleep.

Also, some drunkards were consuming alcohol in the park creating nuisance. After drinking they throw bottles in the open, broken glasses were found on walkways and lawns posing injury threat to visitors and morning walkers, the locals said. Jyothsna responded positively and promised to forward the issue to the officials concerned.
