Regulate fee in engineering colleges, demands ABVP

Osmania University: Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) staged a dharna in front of the Engineering College on the campus premises here on Monday stating that the State government has failed to regulate the fee structure in engineering colleges.

They asked the managements of engineering colleges not to think of massive fee hikes. They demanded the return of excess fees collected from students. They demanded action against managements of colleges that hiked fee. "B category seats should be filled online.

Government should reimburse fee to students irrespective of the ranks they obtained," the activists added. Sri Hari, Suman, Praveen, Ramesh, Srisailam, Thota Srinivas, Krishna, Abhishek and others were present on the occasion.
