Residents fume over civic apathy

Amberpet: The overflowing sewerage at Prem Nagar has been causing inconvenience to the residents for 15 days. It has become a common sight for the locals. The overflowing sewerage water is posing a threat to the passer-by and office goers.

A resident said, "The stagnant water has been overflowing past few days. It has been causing a lot of problems to the locals. Nobody can pass by this road as it is overflowing and emitting foul smell which is unbearable.

The locals have informed the GHMC many times but all in vain. The stagnant water overflows on the main road which is unsafe for someone who is riding as it can cause a major accident someday."
