Residents fume over disrupted streetlights
Trimulgherry: The streetlights at Posts & Telegraph Colony near the Trimulgherry Street were disrupted as trees fell on electric poles during the recent downpour. The locals complained to the officials concerned to get the lights repaired as commuters were facing problems while travelling in the dark through this road.
Speaking to The Hans India here on Tuesday, G Janardhan, secretary of Posts & Telegraph Colony, said people were facing hardships and in spite of lodging complaints to the SCB officials, they have failed to restore the situation.
We were facing problems in passing through this lane during the night. In the darkness of the night, traffic snarls are often witnessed on the road, he added. Residents made an appeal to the officials to respond to the situation and restore the power which was disrupted.
