Revanth Reddy flays TS CM KCR, police
Hyderabad: Telangana PCC working president Revanth Reddy on Wednesday called on former MLA T Narsa Reddy and his daughter who are undergoing treatment in a private hospital in Secunderabad. He warned that the party would not tolerate the government for attacking those who go on hunger strikes or participate in public agitations.
Speaking to the press, Revanth Reddy strongly criticized the TRS government and the police with regard to public agitations/protests. He hit out at the administration for not doing justice to persons displaced by the Kondapochamma reservoir, not even bothering about their 'just' demands. The Congress leader found fault with the police for causing hardship to Narsa Reddy and his daughter, who took up the cause of the displaced persons and the submerged villages.
Reddy alleged that because of the police handling Narsa Reddy's daughter had sustained a hand fracture. He wondered how Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, 'who could not do justice to the displaced persons would allot a site of 250 sq yards to his close relative Santosh'.
The Congress firebrand described the proposed Federal Front as fake ('butakam') and that KCR would not be believed by leaders of other States. He claimed that although KCR had met DMK chief Stalin recently the visit was dubbed as one to visit temples in Tamil Nadu.
