Revanth Reddy visits dog-bite victim
Secunderabad: Malkajgiri MP-elect Revanth Reddy on Thursday called on the boy Ali, who sustained head injuries after being bitten by a street dog atop the Moulali Hill, and his family members in Gandhi Hospital.
He made inquiries with the doctors about Ali's health condition and handed over Rs 50,000 as assistance to the family moved by the boy's plight. He suggested to the doctor to provide better health care to dog-bite victims.
Later, Reddy told the media that the GHMC's 'indifferent' attitude with regard to street dogs was not proper. Hospital Superintendent Dr Shravan Kumar stated that soon after Ali was brought doctors had brought his condition to normal. Although he had frequent fits, the boy's was stable. As better treatment was being given, his condition would hopefully improve after a week, Dr Kumar asserted.
