Reverse Logistics Group to launch 2nd edition of Clean to Green drive

Hyderabad: Reverse Logistics Group (RLG), a leading global service provider of comprehensive reverse logistics solutions, has announced the launch of the second innings of its flagship campaign 'Clean to Green' in India. The campaign is aimed at creating awareness and sensitising consumers on responsible disposal of electronics and safe practices for recycling by partnering with responsible organisations.

RLG Clean to Green campaign saw great success in its first innings in FY 2018-19. As many as 825 events were organised in 26 cities and 4 union territories, touching approximately 10,02,802 individuals. In FY 2019-20, the Clean to Green campaign seeks to advance the awareness amongst masses and educate consumers to responsibly dispose of electronic waste by tapping 38 cities across 27 states and 5 union territories, covering 1245 schools, 56 RWAs, 10 Office Clusters, 33 Colleges, 72 informal sector units, and 50 bulk consumers and retailers.

Speaking about the second year of the Clean to Green campaign, Radhika Kalia, Managing Director, RLG India, said, "We were encouraged by the successful role out of the flagship campaign last year. In FY 2019-20, we seek to extend the reach of the Clean to Green campaign to ensure individuals and professionals understand that proper disposal and recycling of electronics is a national priority and lack of awareness of responsible disposal of e-waste amongst masses is a serious issue."

The Clean to Green campaign seeks to reach over 25,000 students in Hyderabad and create awareness towards responsible disposal and recycling of e-waste. The programme will touch 23 schools in Hyderabad. Names of a few schools included are: Satya Sai Grammar High School, Sri Vishwa Bharathi High School, Jubilee Star High School, Hyderabad School Of Excellence, St. Alphonsus High School, Kakatiya Techno School, Ma Ideal High School, St. Anthony'S School.
