Rota virus vaccine administered

Patancheru: Local MLA Gudem Mahipal Reddy observed on Wednesday that Rota virus vaccine helps greatly in prevention of diarrhoea in children, which, if not treated, may prove to be fatal. He stressed on the need to administer to children to save their lives.

Reddy launched distribution of the vaccine at Bhanur primary health centre in Patancheru mandal and administered it to some infants. He also called for compulsory administration of the vaccine. Among those present were Dr Rekha Chandrika, MPP Sushma, TRS mandal party president Dasarath Reddy, and party leader Borra Venkat Reddy.
