Sanitation staff collect scrap at Bharath Nagar

Malkajgiri: Sanitation staff collected 140 kg of scrap as part of Recylothon, a GHMC special drive to collect scrap and disposable items from people, at Bharath Nagar of Moulali division on Sunday.

Sanitation staff went to each house and collected scrap such as broken furniture, old mattresses and other disposable items and explained public that action would be taken against those who throw plastic bags and other waste on roads or in open nalas. Sanitation staff and local residents participated in the programme.
