Sarpanches association lends support to RTC strike
Basheerbagh: Telangana Sarpanch Association has extended their support to RTC strike. This was announced by the association leaders who gathered at the residence of Sarpanch leader Bhoomanna Yadav who was released from jail after 22 days.
Speaking on the occasion, Sarpanch leaders said that the CM KCR jailed their leader on false charges as he was afraid the result of Nizamabad MP election in which his daughter Kavitha was defeated would repeat in Huzurnagar, too. Sarpanches decided to file nomination as part of their fight for preservation of their rights, they said.
General secretary of the association Praneel Chander said that rural people had been undergoing difficulties due to the RTC strike. He stressed the need for the CM KCR to respond to the RTC strike and resolve the strike at the earliest, considering the woes of rural people. He called upon the sarpanches to get inspired by the RTC strike and fight against the state government for their rights.
State secretary of the association Gurram Sathyam, vice-president Sriram Reddy, G Mahender Reddy, Naresh Reddy, Sunder Reddy and others were present on the occasion.
