School girl enthrals with classical dance

Yalal: A Class 9 student of Agganur ZP School has been excelling in Indian classical dance. Abhinaya Sri, daughter of Manjula and Lakshman Goud of Yalal, developed a strong interest in the Kuchipudi dance in her childhood. She was admitted in a dance school in Tandur at age of six years. She started stage performances from the young age. She has been enthralling audience with her amazing dance performance and receiving accolades from all sections.

As Abhinaya Sri's performance enthrals audience immensely, she got opportunities to perform on the bigger venues like Ravindra Bharathi, Lalithakala Thoranam, Thyagaraya Ganasabha in Hyderabad and appreciated by great personalities. She was presented a certificate of appreciation by the orgnaisers of events at Ravindra Bharathi and Lalithakala Thoranam recently. She also received a certificate and shield from the Lions Club, Hyderabad.

Later, Abhinaya Sri extended her talent to the national level. She performed in several cultural festivals held in Tirupati, Gangotri, Nepal and other places. Speaking to The Hans India, she said that the credit of her fame should go to her mother. "My mother identified my interest in classical dance and joined me in school. I am still learning techniques in the dance. I like 'Shiva Thandavam' in Kuchipudi. I am always inspired by the applause by the audience. I will work hard and bring good name to my parents and realise their dream," she said.
