Secunderabad Cantonment: An incident of the Secunderabad Cantonment Board woman officer allegedly demanding bribe from a house-owner, Dasaratharami Reddy, who has been waiting for the last three years for the permission to build house, was said to have taken place on Tuesday.

The incident happened when the board staff, including the woman officer reached Reddy's site to inspect the construction work. He sought building permission from the staff. Angered by this, she allegedly beat him with a slipper and resorted to abusive language.

Reddy said later that he had lodged complaints with the ACB, CID and the Cantonment Board officials in Pune on the incident. He alleged that the SCB staff, who had been demanding bribe for according house-building permission, had been terrorising him for the last 10 days. He had been going round the board office for securing permission. Reddy claimed that 'false' cases have been filed against him.

According to him, the SCB officials and staff refused to react even when he threatened to approach the court for exerting pressure on them to accord permission. Reddy demanded steps by the administration to render justice to him and to take immediate action against the woman board official for her 'misbehaviour.'
