Security guard held for chain snatching

Langer Houz: The Langer Houz police on Thursday arrested a chain snatcher, T Pavan Singh (20), a Nepali security guard, and recovered 1.5 tolas of gold, silver ornaments and 2 KTM bikes from his possession.

According to police, they received a complaint from V Satish, a resident of Kakatiya Nagar Colony, stating that on July 13 night someone stole his KTM bike. Police registered a case under Section 380 IPC and took up investigation. They collected CCTV footage from the areas of Kakatiya Nagar Colony, Rethibowli, Masab Tank, GVK Banjara Hills and Nampally lodge, and identified the offender.

Later, they arrested the accused on Thursday near Alankar Theater in Langer Houz while he was moving on the stolen KTM Bike. The accused was previously involved in 17 criminal cases and went to jail. After his release, he resumed his criminal activity. He was also involved in 6 more criminal cases.
