Seven decisions taken at GHMC standing committee meeting

Hyderabad: Seven items were approved at the GHMC standing committee meeting which was held at the GHMC head office on Thursday. Mayor Bonthu Rammohan, Commissioner DS Lokesh Kumar held the meeting.

committee members Sameena Begum, Md Abdul Rahman, Mustafa Ali, Mis-bah-uddin, M Mamata, Ekkala Chaitanya Kanna, Md Akhil Ahmad, Sheik Hameed, T Anjayya and others were present. Hari Chandana, Viswajit Kampati, Kenedi, Vijaya Lakshmi, Siktha Patnaik, Sankarayya, Yadgiri Rao, Srinivas Reddy, Upendar Reddy, Ashok Samrat, Mamata, Devendar Reddy, Suresh and Zia Uddin also participated in the meeting.

Among the decisions taken were:

1. To sanction deputation allowance for the police officials and constables working under enforcement, vigilance and disaster management in GHMC;
2. To hand over the sanitation process to Masors Eksora corporate services as an experiment in place like Charminar, Salrjung museum, Makka Masjid and Secunderabad railway station; and
3. To utilise the services of two retired surveyors for six months in contract basis for Strategic Road Development Plant.
