Several works launched in Chandanagar division

Chandanagar: Serilingampally MLA Arekapudi Gandhi and local corporator Bobba Navatha Reddy on Wednesday laid foundation stones for several development works costing Rs 4.11 crore inside PJR Stadium, Gandhi statue area, Sriramnagar Colony and Diptisrinagar Colony.

Addressing the gatherings, both public representatives called for early completion of the works and to avoid any inconvenience to locals. The works launched by the MLA and the corporator were: Rhythmic Gymnastic Hall in PJR Stadium (Rs 25 lakh); badminton synthetic court (Rs14 lakh); basketball fencing (Rs 4.5 lakh); CC pitch (Rs 2 lakh); RCC pipeline near Gandhi statue (Rs 95 lakh); CC road near Delhi Public School in Diptisrinagar (Rs35 lakh); CC road near Diptisrinagar Park (Rs 19.6 lakh) and near Diptisrinagar Road No 27 (Rs 33 lakh), and in Shankar Colony Road No. 6 (Rs 19 lakh); repairs to CC roads in Chandanagar division (Rs 25.5 lakh); CC road from Taranagar Monalisa Studio to local market (Rs 19.5 lakh); CC road in Sriramnagar Colony (Rs 20 lakh); internal CC road near Sripurnima Sriram Towers (Rs 20 lakh); CC road and UGD from RR Hospital to GMR Hostel (Rs 12 lakh); CC road from Bikshapathi Colony Gurunilayam to Masjid & Alifa School & UGD (Rs 20 lakh).

Among those present at the functions were DE Anand, AE Anurag, Work Inspector Jagdish, party activists Usman Baig, Raghava Rao, Sunita Reddy, Ward Members Ramana Kumari, Radhika,Anant Reddy, Manikyal Rao, Shivaram, Trinadh, Rajender Reddy, Devaki, Narsimha Reddy, Malla Reddy, Murthy, Sitaramayya, Nagulu Goud, Sridhar, Veeranand, Dharmender Dhube,Prasad, Venkatesham, Kondal Reddy, Ashok Reddy, Ward/Area committee members, local residents, representatives of colony associations.
