Sewage stench at Rythu Bazaar

Alwal: The entrance of Rythu Bazaar is in a pathetic condition, as the overflow of sewage, mixed rotten vegetable trash is lying here for the last one month and concerned authorities are not even bothered to clean it up. Both customers and vegetable vendors are suffering due to the stench and the unhygienic conditions at the market entrance.

Rythu Bazaar is mostly preferred to by citizens considering the affordable price of vegetables and fruits. But the sewage water which stagnated and the untidy atmosphere are causing discomfort to the buyers.

Speaking to The Hans India here on Thursday, Prasanna, a customer, said because of the recent downpour in the city, the entrance of market got drenched with filth and sewage and has become difficult to stand here and buy vegetables and fruits as the whole place is very dirty and stinky.

Reema, a local, said that in these unhygienic conditions, the vendors are selling the vegetable and fruits, no one is bothered to clean, we have complained to GHMC, Alwal zone but they did not bother to clean the place.

Srihari, a vegetable vendor, said the area is very dirty and it is difficult for us to sell vegetables over here.
