Sewer overflows, locals urge officials for action

Madhapur: Arunodya Colony residents are forced to walk amidst foul smell in the area, which emanates from stagnant water. Add to it is a sewer overflow. As no action has been taken so far, the locals are resigned to their fate and suffering in silence.

"People are walking in the stagnant water and shit for the past few weeks and all our efforts to intimate the civic officials are unsuccessful and haven't got any response from them. We request the officials to resolve this before anyone gets sick or gets infection" said a local resident.
