Hyderabad: Former Leader of Opposition in Telangana State Legislative Council Moahmmed Ali Shabbir on Wednesday accused Chief Minister K. Chandraskhekar Rao of neglecting the health sector in the State.

Shabbir Ali shared a news clipping which claimed that four children were forced to share a bed in Niloufer Hospital and Tweeted, "This is reality of India's 'Richest State' - Four children affected with infectious diseases forced to share same hospital bed in 'World Best City' of India's 'Top Welfare State'."

"When will CM KCR and his son KTR come out of their illusionary world and stop making false claims? It's shocking that KCR did not held a single review meeting on health situation while thousands of people are affected with Dengue, Malaria & other infectious diseases," Shabbir Ali said in a follow-up Tweet. He used the Hashtag #WakeUpKCR in both the Tweets.

Later, in another Tweet, Shabbir Ali ridiculed the Chief Minister for giving advise on financial discipline. "After wasting Rs. 1.66 Cr on gifts for VIPs at Kaleshwaram event, KCR is now talking about financial discipline and prudence? It is not ridiculous? The 'Modinomics' has destroyed the country's economy and 'KCR Tantra' is ruining the growth prospects of Telangana," he Tweeted.

"Hundreds of crores of public money has been brutally spent for the lavish lifestyle of CM KCR and his family I challenge CM KCR to disclose details of expenditure on Pragati Bhavan and his family tours in the last few years," he added.
