Shashidhar Reddy tours Padma Rao Colony
Secunderabad: On receiving complaints from locals regarding drainage and other issues, former MLA Marri Shashidhar Reddy on Tuesday toured Padmarao Nagar Colony which is located behind Gandhi Hospital.
During his visit, he met with the residents of Sheshagiri Apartment and Shambhavi Apartment who showed him the overflowing of sewerage that is coming out of Gandhi Hospital on to the road.
They said that the overflowing water resulted in mosquito menace which may result in proliferation of diseases such as Dengue, Malaria and Swine Flu in the area. They also showed the 11 kv high tension electricity poles which are rusted at the bottom and may fall at any moment.
Responding to their complaints, Shashidhar Reddy spoke to the authorities concerned and assured the residents that the issues would be addressed at the earliest.
Among those who were present during the visit of the former MLA include locals retired SBI manager Sridhar, social activist Krishna Pujari, local Congress leaders Chandrapal Reddy, Eshwar, Nagesh, Vijay Kumar, Deshpande, Raghu Goud, Vikas, Raju, Narsing, Narender, Gopi Srinivas, Naresh, Vamshi, Raju, Narsing, Kiriti and others.
