Srinivas Goud, MLAs, Gaddam Ranjith Reddy take part in 5K Run

Allwyn colony: Serilingampally MLA Arekapudi Gandhi and local Corporator Dodla Venkatesh Goud on Sunday launched a 5K run from Tulasivanam to IDEL Tank.

The run was organised by Sathur Sirisha Naveen to commemorate the memory of freedom fighters. State Minister V Srinivas Goud, Chevella MP Gaddam Ranjith Reddy, Gandhi, MLA Madhavaram Krishna Rao, MLC Naveen Rao and Goud later gave prizes to the first three winners of the race.

Addressing the participants, the minister complimented Sathur Sirisha for holding the run in a pleasant atmosphere. He advised people to take up in the morning hours walking and running to stay healthy. "I am happy to see the participants to be active during the race without any age distinction," he observed. He announced that soon the IDEL Tank would be beautified as a tourist spot.
