Street near Laad Bazaar stinks of filth

Laad Bazar: The Street opposite to the Chowk near Laad Bazaar turns into a dump yard, with almost half of the road is filled with garbage. The street is filled with heaps of garbage and the GHMC is seen not performing its duty well and left the garbage on the street for a week.

Almost the whole street is covered with garbage for a week now, and no GHMC vehicle has come, so far, to change the garbage container, and the area surrounding of the garbage container is also filled with garbage, and not much space is left for the commuters.

According to locals, even the regular door-to-door garbage collectors and the nearby shops also dumb the garbage here. Don't know why GHMC is neglecting the street and not picking-up the garbage, said Rajesh, a resident.

Due to dumping of garbage, there is also an increase in the mosquito population. "We give regular complaints to the local corporator and GHMC officials, they ensure us that they would clean, but the street is still filled with garbage, said Anil, another resident.
