Street plays, colony visits spice up poll campaign
Secunderabad: At a time when social media is used to the optimum to woo voters, the TRS party leaders from Secunderabad have taken to a street play to get at Revanth Reddy who was alleged to have carried Rs 50 lakh in a suitcase to offer Anglo Indian nominated MLA Elvis Stephenson a few years ago.
The brainchild behind the play, TRS leader Manne Krishank said, "The people should know about the past and the true colours of Revanth Reddy. The play was enacted in Anna Nagar.
Temple darshan
That religion is a strong weapon and attracting voters into the fold at temples has been going on for quite some time. N Sri Ganesh who joined the BJP has been visiting temples.
On Sunday, he visited Katta Maisamma temple at Kapra Lake and interacted with the locals.
The new entrant Marri Rajshekar Reddy, son-in-law of Medchal MP and Health Minister Ch Malla Reddy who is contesting from Malkajgiri has been visiting colonies and temples.
With each passing day, the political campaigning is getting fiercer. Rajshekar Reddy visited seven colonies in a single day that included Trimurthy Colony, Dhanalaxmi Colony,Balamrai Colony,Shantikathan Colony,Ishaq Colony,Brooke Bond Colony Old Vasavi Colony and Vasavi Colony.
