Striving to develop every colony, says corporator Dodla Venkatesh Goud

Allwyn Colony: Local Corporator Dodla Venkatesh Goud on Thursday held out an assurance that he was developing every colony in Allwyn Colony division in a phased manner so that the entire area could prosper.

He was speaking after undertaking a 'padayatra' in NTR Nagar in Yellammabanda area to know the problems facing the people. The residents informed that drainage was their main issue. Goud stated that the problem arose after the residents failed to link their domestic sewerage to the main line, as a result of which it was overflowing, despite incurring an expenditure of about Rs 2 crore on laying of huge pipes. He advised them to link their individual sewerage connection to the main drainage pipeline, so as to solve the problem by easy passage.

Among those who accompanied the corporator were Works Inspector Brahmam, Ward Member Chinnolla Srinivas, Area Committee Members Shoukath Ali, Munna, TRS leaders Shivraj Goud, Samad, Nagabushnam, Ramaswamy, Vasu, Paladugu Janayya, Katke Ravi, Chinna, Munna, Ramchandar, Arive Ravi, colony residents Basheerbhai, Khaja, Mustafa, Nagaraju, Rasool, Aruna and Soundarya.
