Students told to set, pursue high goals

Rangareddy: Former Joint Director at Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) VV Lakshminarayana visited Laksha Sadhana Foundation, located at Chilkur Village of Moinabad mandal on Sunday. Speaking on the occasion, he explained the students of the institution about the characteristics of an ideal citizen. He advised students to work hard to achieve their set goals. One has to work for at least 10,000 hours to gain expertise on any subject, he said.

The time in one's life spent in serving nation is the best period, he said. Lakshminarayana congratulated the head of the institution, Pragna Raju, for initiating a novel attempt to teach students on ways to set and realise their goals.

He said that the institution has all the necessary facilities to help rural students become IAS and IPS officers. He appreciated the management for providing good library. He also lauded the management for bringing about cultural, spiritual and social awakening among students. The institution needs to be recognized for its innovative educational and service-oriented programmes, he said.
