Suchitra Academy holds 9th founder's day fete

Hyderabad: The 9th founder's day of Suchitra Acadmey was celebrated grandly on the campus on Sunday. Praveen Raju, the chief mentor of Suchitra Academy, welcomed PV the Sindhu, badminton world champion, who was the honourable chief guest.

Little kids enthralled the audience with musical presentation of the famous fable 'Jack and the Beanstalk' with peppy dances and adorable costumes followed by the musical 'Arabian Nights'. The audience was also treated to a shower of coordinated rhythm and soul lifting melody by the choir and the members of the school band.

Sindhu applauded the performances and congratulated the staff and the students for their efforts in presenting a programme par excellence. She said, "I have been doing my fitness training in the Suchitra Academy for over two years. I am virtually here every day for workout whenever I am in town and I can call this as my second home."

Later, The Annual School Report was read by the Director- Principal, Renu Shorey, who brought to the fore, the achievements of the students. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by the vice-principal, Deepa Kapoor.
