Sunni United Forum of India to organise peace rally, hold blood donation camp
Charminar: Sunni United Forum of India (SUFI) will organise a blood donation camp on the occasion of Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi on November 3.
Speaking to media persons in a press conference, SUFI Vice President Hafiz Muzaffar Hussain Khan said that as every year on Rabi-ul-Awwal (Islamic month), SUFI is organising a blood donation camp on Rabi-ul-Awwal 5 at Quadri Chaman in Falaknuma.
Muzaffar Khan said that SUFI has been also organising peace rally (Milad rally) for the last 12 years. This year also on the celebration of Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi, which is marked on November 10, SUFI is organising a walking rally from Quadri Chaman in Falaknuma to Mecca Masjid near Charminar.
After offering Zohar prayer, the Dua will be offered by Maulana Syed Qubul Pasha Shuttari, president of Majlis Ulma-e-Deccan in Mecca Masjid. Later, the rally will be flagged off from Mecca Masjid by Syed Shah Ibrahim Hussaini Sajjad Pasha, Shaik-ul-Islam and custodian of Quadri Chaman. In this peace rally, lakhs of devotees will participate, he added.
The rally will start near Charminar and go towards Gulzar Houz, Patthergatti, Madina Building via Salar Jung Museum, Darulshifa, Purani Haveli to Mir Alam Mandi, Etebar Chowk and will end at Moghalpura. Muzaffar Hussain requested the youngsters to celebrate the Milad in a peaceful and devotional manner, as it marks the birth celebrations of Prophet Mohammed. "During celebrations, we have to avoid playing loud music, triple riding and speed driving," he said.
