Syndicate Bank General Manager killed in road mishap

Hyderabad: S Vijay Kumar, a native of Hyderabad who was working as General Manager of Delhi zone in Syndicate Bank, met with a road accident and passed away on Sunday.

The accident occurred when Kumar was heading back from a branch managers' meet in Ajmer, along with his wife Sukeshini. Vijay and driver sustained injuries in the mishap. He died on the spot, while his wife and driver are undergoing treatment in a hospital in Ajmer.

Later, she was airlifted to Hyderabad and is being treated in the city. Kumar's funeral rituals will take place on Thursday around noon in Alwal. Kumar's two sons, Abhishek and Anurag, who have completed their post-graduation, are preparing for the Civils examinations.
