T historian included in Maha Book of Records
Hyderabad: Recognising the works of journalist-turned-historian Syed Naseer Ahamed, the Maharashtra Book of Records (national records) as a mark of appreciation presented him with a certificate of appreciation as a 'unique tribute to Indian forgotten heroes' and included his name in its book for his untiring contribution to literature on Independence struggle.
According to Maharashtra Book of Records, this gesture was in recognition of his efforts and his passion to make an extensive study of the socio-economic and political conditions of Indian Muslims. Other areas of his interest include history, economics and sociology. He participated in many conferences as a member of several regional, national and international organisations.
Besides being a good orator, he is also as an artist and a cartoonist. "Syed Naseer has been striving hard for happy and harmonious coexistence of all the social groups of India with friendly and brotherly relationships and for the disappearance of all types of disparities in society.
He remains a humanist, secularist and democrat to the core. We the board of directors of the Maharashtra Book of Records (national record) confirm and enter a fresh 'National Record' in Naseer's name as a 'Unique Tribute to Indian Forgotten Heroes' and hereby issue this national record certificate," said Dr Sunil Dada Patil, chief editor, Maharashtra Book of Records.
The MBR in its publication gave detailed insight into the life and research work of Naseer. It notes, through the study of the contemporary society right form his childhood developed a keen sense of observation and service mindedness and participated in the activities of several social, literary, and service organizations.
As a researcher, in history and writer cum publisher of books on history, Naseer has been a steady flow with hundreds of articles and total 13 books in Telugu on 'The Role of Muslims in the Indian Freedom Movement.
"All most all of his books have been revised and reprinted several times with additional information, where as some of them have been translated into other languages. Number of essays, poems and short stories penned by Naseer Ahamed appeared in several Telugu periodicals and Daily newspapers," it adds.
Syed Naseer Ahamed is awarded and honoured by different Social, Cultural organizations in the entire country for his untiring efforts to bring out the great sacrifices of Muslim Freedom Fighters to the notice of one and all by his works.
