Tahsildar Farhana offers golden Bonam to Kali

Bandlaguda: Demonstrating 'Ganga-Jamuna' religious amity of Telangana, a Muslim tahsildar of Bandlaguda, Farhana Sheikh, carried golden Bonam along with silk clothes and presented them at the reputed Mahankali temple at Lal Darwaja.

On the auspicious day of Varalakshmi Vratham of Shravana month, as Farhana carried the Bonam, the temple chairman Tirupathi Narsinga Rao, vice-president Venkatesh, temple advisor PS Jagadish Mudiraj welcomed her into the temple with 'purnakumbam' and traditional music. After presenting the Bonam, she offered special prayers to deity and distributed the prasadam to the devotees.

Temple committee members K Vishnu Goud, B Raju Yadav, A Manik Prabhu Goud, G Aravind Goud, G Mahesh Goud, C Venkatesh, B Balwanth Yadav, Sheshu Narayana, K Suresh Babu, B Vithal and others were present on the occasion.
