Tamilisai Soundarajan responds positively to plea for Praja Darbar
Hyderabad: The Telangana State Governor, Dr Tamilisai Soundarajan, has responded positively to the suggestion of MBT spokesperson Amjedullah Khan to conduct 'Praja Darbar' once a week at Raj Bhavan.
On social network, Amjedullah Khanposted a representation, stating that the Telangana State public is facing a lot of problems and wants to represent their problems to their public representatives and bureaucrats, but they are not available for the public.
Earlier during TDP and Congress-rule the State Chief Minister, Ministers and Bureaucrats used to meet the general public at their offices from 3 pm to 5 pm, but since TRS party came to power this practice has been totally stopped.
The public in Telangana is feeling as if there in no one to hear to their problems. Soit's requested to conduct 'Praja Darbar' at least once in a week at Raj Bhavan so that the aggrieved public can meet you personally and represent their problems, he mentioned.
He also stated that there has been no appointment of Lok Ayukta, Upa Lokayukta, State Information Commission and State Human Rights Commission (SHRC) in last 3 years where general public can go and complaint.
