Musheerabad: At a broad-based meeting of the TDP Secunderabad Assembly constituency-level meeting at Hyderabad district office, steps to restore the party past glory, and strive for its prestige before the ensuing municipal elections were discussed. Telangana state legal cell president Gandham Gurumurthy presided over the meeting. He told the meeting that the constituency was like a fortress for the party.

The meeting, Gurumurthy stated, was mainly intended to prepare the TDP activists for the ensuing membership enrolment drive. Referring to the recent defections from the TDP, he contended that they were motivated to meet selfish ends. He claimed that honest and selfless activists were still with the party. Among those present were Komuranna, Ashok, Bhaskar Mudiraj and others.

Meanwhile, Hyderabad district TDP leaders P Saibaba and Nallella Kishore called upon the party activists to make a grand success the May 11 dharna to protest against the TRS government's alleged lack of reaction to the last month's suicides by the Intermediate students.
