Telangana Govt striving to educate all children

Serilingampally: Local Corporator Ragam Nagender Yadav has said the state government and its leaders are making efforts to provide education to all children under the Right to Education (RTE).

Yadav was speaking after flagging off a children rally, organised by Child Labour Special Training Centre, under the auspices of Spars Society, in coordination with the Ranga Reddy district unit of National Child Labour Removal Special Scheme, at Majidbanda, JV Hills Colony.

Yadav, while describing the childhood as a beautiful phase of life, suggested that every child should be sent to school, so that they don't turn into labourers. He urged parents to take the responsibility to ensure that their wards take interest in educating themselves.

The corporator praised the Spars Society for striving to banish child labour. Among those present were former Councilor Veeresham Goud, TRS leaders Nago Rao, Balraj, society president P Narsimha, coordinator Anjaneyulu, volunteer Balamani, children and their parents.
