Telangana Information Technology Association inks MoU IIIT, Basar
Hyderabad: Telangana Information Technology Association (TITA) has undergone MoU for providing opportunities to the Students, who are interested to initiate the new Start- Ups. As a part of MoU took place with IIIT, Basar, TITA have planned to establish two incubation centers in the Innovation Sector.
Industry Incubation and Start-Up Incubation are being established in the guidance of Telangana Innovation and Incubation Center. In this context, today Ashok, Vice Chancellor, IIIT and Sundeep Kumar Makthala, Global President, TITA have exchanged the MoU documents.
As TITA aspires for the development of Rural Students along with the Students of Hyderabad, it is also aspiring to create an environment which will provide employment rather than seeking employment.
In this scenario, it is decided to establish two incubation centers at IIIT, Basara under the guidance of Telangana Innovation and Incubation Center.
The two incubation centers are 1) Industry Incubation center is for the companies, who are already providing their services and in thrust of extension of services with the partnership of the students 2) Start-Up Incubation center for the students who are ready to work for innovations in their interested field.
The activities of Japan's Safe Trace Hub and Voice of Digithon have already taken place keeping the IIIT, Basara at center. The students who get opportunity in Industry Incubation Center have an opportunity to earn while continuing their studies and this MoU creates such an environment. In the recent past TITA have brought many companies to IIIT, Basara for campus selections and now is playing vital role in Start-ups too.
This MoU strengthening TITA to work as full-time wing with a special cell. The building of Electronics wing of IIIT was allotted to these Start-Ups.
Dean, Vice-Chancellor, RGUKT, President, TITA, one member from RGUKT and three members from TIITA are the members of Administrative Committee. As a part of this MoU, RGUKT has agreed to allocate the land of an extent of 10,000 sq. ft to TITA to run TIIC operations. During this MoU, Vice Chancellor Dr. Ashok Kumar IAS said that IIIT, Basara have conducted many programs under the guidance of TITA.
He also recalled that TITA's role in Digital Basara, and he stressed the students who trained in National Academy of Construction are provided with Rs.2.5 Lakhs and the present MoU gives more opportunities to the students and also for campus selections of various companies. Sundeep Kumar Makthala, Global President, TITA, addressing the meet expressed his interest to establish the College in rural areas along with IIIT, Basara and Telangana Innovation and Incubation Center.
He also said that at present various universities have expressed their interest in this matter and are ready to undergo MoUs on scrutiny of their proposals. Further he said that they are going to arrange sessions with international start-ups to inculcate the trend of entrepreneurs among the students on weekly basis. Sainath, Dean, RGUKT, CV Ashwin, General Secretary, TITA, Azase Hussain, Corporate Secretary, TITA and have also participated in this program.
