Telangana State progresses only when rural areas are developed
Patancheru: Gudem Mahipal Reddy said that the real progress of the state was possible only when rural areas are developed. On Sunday, he participated in inauguration various developmental works, taken up with an estimated cost of Rs 9 crore, in Patancheru mandal. He inaugurated an electricity substation at Velimela, an eidgah at Kollur village and various other works at Lakkaram, Kyasaram, Muthangi, Chitkul and other villages of the mandal.
Speaking at a programm organised by Chitkul Sarpanch Neelam Madhu at the village, the MLA said that the KCR government had been spending thousands of crores to strengthen the rural areas financially as well as socially. A systematic effort is being made to develop basic infrastructure in villages based on the growing population, he said. Mission Bhagiratha, a mission to provide drinking water, has already been started, he said.
Patancheru MPP Golla Srisailam Yadav, sarpanches Sudheer Reddy, Upender, Manik Reddy, MPDO Ananth Reddy, senior leaders Dasharath Reddy, S Srinivas, N Linga Reddy, MPTCs and others participated in the programs.
