A first of its kind from Ladakh, it has received several national and international awards.
Amidst the vast stretches of rock and snow, across the remote valley of Gya-Miru, Stanzin Dorjay has documented the unusual life of his sister Tsering. At the age of 50, she is one of the last shepherdesses to graze her 300 sheep and goats, in her village.
